TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF:

I would describe myself as a cross breed between a booklover and a socialite. Somedo not know how I manage to balance the two, needless to say, I enjoy both. For me, I am either reading at home, socializing at the rooftop restaurants of the city or simply hosting a couple of friends, I have it all on lock down. And with that, it is accompanied by my dazzling social skills. I would say my experience as a full-time law student and currently a practicing lawyer in the works, my social life would be quite peculiar to my fellow colleagues and attorney mates.

HOW DID YOUR INTEREST IN SOCIAL MEDIA BEGIN?

It began in 2015 when I started venturing into the modelling industry. I would post photos on Instagram, Facebook and upload live videos on Snapchat of the various places I was at shooting at the time, the amount of fun I was having, the make-up, the behind the scenes. And I received quite a substantial response from my followers who would be interested to watch what I was doing next, where I was going or even what I was eating at the time (as trivial as it may sound). As my profile slowly started growing I realized that there may be much more done on this platform by becoming involved in a way that I can benefit from it, by reaching others to reach others.

HOW DID YOU START BEING INVOLVED IN SOCIAL MEDIA?

I was approached by 6th Avenue Group in 2016, an advertising agency which specialized in promoting events, clothing store release campaigns, newsletters, collaborations with celebrities and at the time they were gripping thousands of people by just social media marketing. They were better known as Head Honcho. Soon thereafter after my social media presence grew, I started accepting social media jobs from other companies, including my best one to date with Liqui Fruit. We nationally headed a campaign on the release of a totally new juice product which flew off the shelves by just using social media platforms.

WHAT DOES YOUR CAREER DO FOR YOU?

What it does for me is set out a positive light to many of those who do not favour social media or have negative views about it. I want to be able to provide employment opportunities for those who are misunderstood in the social media world, for everyday people who can relate to the content creation we provide, for businesses seeking to grow and for the general public not to disregard the influence of social media.

WHAT IS THE AIM FOR YOUR INVOVLEMENT IN YOUR NEW VENTURE, INFLUENCERS?

At Influencers Brand & Marketing, we aim to help people expand not only themselves but their businesses too. Social media is a growing industry and if done right, there can be many opportunities knocking on your door and a business revolution for the youth. My career aims to prove that, and what it does for me is to set out a positive light to many of those who do not favour social media or have negative views about it.
